Blason de Bougogne Saint Veran

blog 113

What a time to be alive! Saint Veran at £8 a bottle – and if you buy any 6 wines in Tesco, it comes down to £6 a bottle! BUY! This is great wine for the money and coupled with the Trivento Chardonnay deal (Tesco), Santa Julia Chardonnay deal (Waitrose) and a great deal on Marc Dudet Bourgogne Blanc (from £11 to £8 a bottle for a case of 6, less £20 with a voucher from O2 – so under £6 a bottle) at M&S – I’m well stocked up!

Tasting notes: Dry, unoaked, fruit forward. Pleasant nose. Some length of finish. Some minerality. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Good wine. Straw coloured.
