We are in the midst of a proper summer in England, with sunshine and wasps. It’s time for rosé… I have tried and will review several rosés, ranging from £6-£20. This wine is from Southern Provence about 30 miles from the sea and about 30 miles from where Whispering Angel (to be reviewed next) is produced. It has celebrity credentials; Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie were involved with the early production stages and their name (along with the well-respected Perrin family) is still on the bottle. This wine is awesome…
Tasting notes: Pale, petal pink colour. Fresh fruit and floral notes on the nose. Dry, with salty, mineral notes. The finish is long. Good intensity.
