Giordano wines are a mixed bunch – this one was pretty good and well priced. It’s a shame that they devote so much time to selling you wine and then so little to delivering you the wine you bought. After ordering 50+ bottles, they regularly substitute 3 bottles in a case for something else (no warning, always cheaper wine).
Tasting notes: Pale lemon colour. Faint primary citrus notes, a little pineapple. No secondary or tertiary notes. Balanced acidity; dry. A little length to the finish. Flavours of citrus, stone fruit. Light wine at 12%.
Region of Origin – nothing specified.
Wine Colour – white
Price – £8.99 – £5.26 (as part of a case deal)
Where do I get it from? Giordano Wines
Current Vintage – nothing specified
Producer – Giordano
Grape – Nothing specified
Country – Italy
Verdict – Cheap, light: quite good wine for the price.
Food Pairings: Works well on its own. We had this with a Friday evening supper of lightly spiced tacos and it worked well.
Great post 😁
