Marks & Spencer Pinot Grigio delle Venezie

I’ve written elsewhere about the insipid nature of so many Pinot Grigios, however this is good wine and is currently at an unbeatable price point.

Tasting notes: This Pinot Grigio is from the Venezie region of  North East Italy. Crisp, fresh flavours of citrus. Dry. A little complexity; better than most supermarket offerings, which I put down to talented wine-maker Jeneve Williams.  Good value for money.

Wine Colour – White
Price – £7 – £6 if you buy 6.
Where do I get it from? Marks & Spencer
Current Vintage – 2017
Producer – Marks & Spencer (Jeneve Williams)
Grape – 100% Pinot Grigio
Region/Country – Venezie
Points – 89
Food Pairing: This would go well with the usual poultry and fish dishes, or as an aperitif, or with salads/bbq dishes.
