Isla Negra Sauvignon Blanc

IMG_2148

I thought this was good, if not memorable Sauvignon Blanc. Very good value at £5, however and good everyday table wine. This comes from Cono Sur, another branch of Concha y Toro.

Tasting notes: Initially detected some sharp, fruit notes. Hints of citrus fruits. Good texture. Dry (but not bone dry).

Wine Colour – White
Price – £5
Where do I get it from? Tesco
Current Vintage – 2017
Producer – Cono Sur
Grape – 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Region/Country – Valle Central
Points – 88
Food Pairing: This would go well with the usual chicken and fish dishes. We had it with goats cheese frittata.
