St Veran, Blason de Bourgogne

C1069250-FA30-4975-8685-DCB4F2F541A1

Blason de Bourgogne St Veran is good wine from another well respected producer/negotiant. It was good, but I had higher expectations from a £10 bottle – I could have done better…

Tasting notes: Crisp, fresh chardonnay with flavours of citrus, white flowers and some minerality.

Wine Colour – White
Price – £10
Where do I get it from? Tesco (widely available).
Current Vintage – 2015
Producer – Blason de Bourgogne
Grape – 100% Chardonnay
Region/Country – Burgundy/France
Points – 89

Food matching: we had this with prawns in a creamy sauce & pasta, and it went very well.
